Software Engineer - TS/SCI with Full Scope PolygraphLocation: Columbia, MDType: Full-Time, Entry LevelDepartment: IT

Our client is looking for a talented Software Engineer to contribute to the development of enterprise-grade software solutions. This role involves building and maintaining Java-based REST APIs, collaborating with stakeholders to meet requirements, and optimizing ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) services. The ideal candidate will also develop expertise in the project’s graph database, creating complex database queries to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Software Development: Design and develop robust software solutions to meet organizational needs.
  • API Development: Build and maintain scalable Java-based REST APIs.
  • Design Patterns: Apply best design practices to ensure product scalability and maintainability.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • ETL Optimization: Develop and optimize ETL services for efficient data processing.
  • Graph Database Proficiency: Gain expertise in the project’s graph database, designing and executing complex queries.

Required Qualifications

  • Java Proficiency: Experience developing enterprise-grade applications with Java.
  • Streaming Analytics: Knowledge of streaming analytics platforms like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Spark.
  • ETL Knowledge: Familiarity with ETL patterns to manage large, complex datasets.
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git and GitLab CI/CD.
  • Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP): Understanding of EIPs and their applications.
  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graph Database Experience: Knowledge of graph databases (e.g., Neo4j) and data modeling.
  • Real-Time Data Processing: Experience with real-time applications using streaming libraries like Kafka Streams.
  • Networking Knowledge: Familiarity with networking protocols and devices (routers, switches).
  • SIGINT and CNO Experience: Knowledge of SIGINT collection/analysis systems and production CNO capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $50,000 - $120,000
