Software Engineer (Full Stack / UI Focus) - TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

Our client is seeking a motivated Software Engineer with a focus on Full Stack development and UI design. This role involves contributing to the enhancement of an established software system, ensuring scalability and maintainability through modern development and design practices. We are looking for a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to apply cutting-edge development frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Software Development: Support the continuous improvement of a mature software system, contributing to code, diagrams, and testing efforts.
- Design Patterns: Utilize modern development and design patterns to promote scalability and long-term success.
- API-Driven Architecture: Work with microservice design patterns, NoSQL databases, data ingest tools like Apache NiFi, and modern web frameworks.
- Team Collaboration: Actively participate in a structured 10-14 person team, contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
- JavaScript Frameworks: Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks (VueJS, React, Angular, etc.).
- Spring Boot Expertise: Experience working with Spring Boot REST APIs and related libraries (Spring Security, Spring Data).
- Version Control and Build Tools: Familiarity with Git and Maven.
- Linux Development: Proficiency in a Linux environment.
- Team Experience: Proven ability to collaborate within a 10+ person team.
- Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
- Database Knowledge: Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, Graph DB).
- Data Wrangling: Experience with data wrangling processes (e.g., discovery, modeling, validation) using tools like Apache NiFi.
- CI/CD Tools: Experience with Jenkins, JUnit testing, or similar CI/CD tools.
- DevOps Skills: Hands-on experience with Packer, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Containerization: Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
- Scripting: Skills in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Groovy.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $50,000 - $120,000
