We are on the lookout for a talented Industrial Controls & Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Fort Wayne region. What You'll Do:

  • Engage in the design, development, testing, and commissioning of innovative process automation systems and refrigeration control systems.
  • Create detailed electrical schematics and panel designs using advanced computer-aided design software.
  • Design robust network systems utilizing Profibus, Modbus, and Ethernet I/P protocols.
  • Develop and program PLCs using platforms like Allen-Bradley Logix, Modicon Unity, and Siemens S7.
  • Craft intuitive HMI solutions with tools such as Rockwell Factory Talk View, Wonderware, Ignition, and Indusoft.
  • Draft comprehensive project documentation, including operation and maintenance manuals.
  • Oversee field commissioning and startup of control systems, ensuring they meet performance expectations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer support and technical guidance.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or Technology.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the design, development, testing, and commissioning of process automation systems.
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus, but not required.
  • A strong ability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.
  • Willingness to travel overnight approximately 25-30% of the time.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident.
