Industrial Process Engineer - Lean Data Driven

We are seeking a highly motivated Industrial Process Engineer to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence by optimizing processes, ensuring the highest quality standards, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

What You Will Do:

  • Champion Process and Quality: Identify and implement robust improvements that enhance safety, quality, and overall efficiency. Develop and integrate error-proofing techniques and controls to minimize defects. Proactively support advancements in our quality management system. 
  • Bridge the Communication Gap: Foster clear and concise communication across departments. Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks to maximize capacity. Develop comprehensive process documentation including one-point lessons, visual aids, and work instructions to facilitate training. Collaborate effectively with manufacturing leadership and personnel to ensure smooth implementation of process improvements. 
  • Operational Excellence Partner: Be instrumental in launching new products, processes, and materials. Analyze data from various sources to identify areas for improvement and take necessary actions. Perform other related duties to support operational excellence. 
  • Leadership through Collaboration: Champion a collaborative culture within the team. Foster open communication and teamwork to achieve departmental objectives. 

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred, or a relevant degree and demonstrably equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working as an engineer in a manufacturing environment, including experience as a co-op or intern (preferred).
  • Strong understanding and application of Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean, PDCA, Six Sigma, and TOC.
  • Proficient in computer skills including CAD systems, Microsoft Office Suite, internet navigation, and email communication.
