There is a small airport, a University, a nice community that offers something for everyone.It is known as a Desert Oasis in the heart of the Columbia Basin in Central Washington with 4 seasons and 330 plus days of sunshine.If that sounds like the change you are looking for, please read on...What they’re looking for:•Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).•Certification from a recognized organization such as ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) or ASEP (American Society of Exercise Physiologists).
Looking for someone with Cardiac Rehab experience and 1 year of experience.•Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and exercise science.•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Hours and compensation potential:•Position is full time. Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm•Range is between $27.50hr-$42.50hrhr depending on experience. •Full benefits package including relocation assistance(5K).What you’ll be doing:•The successful candidate will design and implement exercise programs to help patients recover from chronic diseases, improve cardiovascular function, manage weight, and enhance overall physical performance. •The role requires close collaboration with medical professionals, physical therapists, and fitness experts to deliver tailored exercise prescriptions and monitor progress.•Assess patients’ fitness levels and health conditions using stress tests and other diagnostic tools.•Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for patients with chronic conditions (e.g., cardiovascular, pulmonary, or metabolic disorders).•Monitor patient progress and adjust exercise plans accordingly.•Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, health, and lifestyle changes.•Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations, exercise plans, and outcomes.•Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers.•Ensure safe exercise environments and practices.•Stay updated on the latest exercise science research and health guidelines.Additional Info:•The individual in this position reports to the Director.•Brand new hospital to being built and completed in 2 years so an opportunity to grow into a new space.•Join the team and embark on a fulfilling career as an Exercise Physiologist.
