We are seeking a driven Outside Sales Manager to lead the development of a new branch operation in the Chicagoland area.

The ideal candidate will have experience in outside B2B sales, building and maintaining customer relationships, developing new business, and supporting branch operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to own a territory and build a sales branch from start-up with an established industry leader.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establish and grow a new sales branch serving B2B customers across industrial, healthcare, education, municipal, and commercial sectors.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the greater Chicagoland market.
  • Maintain long-term customer relationships, including regular business reviews
  • Conduct site audits and product demonstrations to support customer decision making and provide recommendations for the best total cost of ownership solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (fulfillment, operations, planning) to manage the full sales and delivery process.
  • Prepare sales proposals and contracts that align with company guidelines.
  • Create a structured customer onboarding program that supports industry standard retention.
  • Stay current on market conditions, trends, and competitor activity and track opportunities and client engagement through Salesforce CRM. Maintain strong sales funnel to meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Work with the marketing department to support marketing efforts such as trade shows, social media outreach, and technical lunch and learn events in support of continuing education credits and certification.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience, with industrial, healthcare, municipal, educational, and/or commercial customers and demonstrated success in both strategic planning and hands-on execution of territory management and growth.
  • Previous experience launching or managing a new sales territory or branch.
  • Filtration industry/products a plus.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
  • Willingness to travel as needed within the assigned region.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $90,000-$100,000 annually, exempt
  • Eligible for annual bonus, 30% at target, uncapped 
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays
