We are seeking a driven and experienced Accounting & Finance Professional for a multi-site Controller role with a leading manufacturing company.

This individual will oversee financial operations and accounting staff across three U.S. manufacturing plants, lead key process improvement initiatives, and serve as a strategic member of the leadership team.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee day-to-day U.S. accounting operations, including journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Streamline processes to improve efficiency and eliminate operational waste.
• Collaborate with corporate leadership on audits, tax filings, and special projects.
• Analyze and interpret the drivers of EBITDA and cash flow performance; design and implement initiatives to enhance financial outcomes. Guide the leadership team in achieving targets through actionable insight and consistent financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Manage the capital expenditure budget, including project evaluation, approval tracking, and execution monitoring.
• Partner with FP&A to analyze monthly performance, enhance reporting, and improve forecast accuracy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, capital planning, budgeting, FP&A, GAAP, and financial reporting.
• Experience managing month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes and leading finance teams.
• Exposure to public accounting or SOX compliance a plus.
• Proven ability to implement best practices and drive operational improvements.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and adept at using data to support strategic decisions.
• Proficient in ERP systems, advanced Excel use, and financial analysis/consolidation software.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
