Outstanding opportunity for a proven Sales Manager with an industry leading industrial manufacturer known for ongoing growth and an award-winning culture. The Sales Manager will drive all sales activities in their assigned market and lead and develop the sales team to achieve maximum profitability and growth while providing world-class customer service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure Sales personnel meet or exceed all activity standards. Collaborate with sales and marketing team to define and execute strategies, and target and pursue customers that align with business objectives.  Maintain and grow the existing customer base while developing new opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Develop customer relationships and build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Champion the company’s mission and core values while leading effectively and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence. Partner with HR to recruit, train, and develop new and existing talent.
  • Assist sales personnel with goals, prospecting, outreach, customer and time management and prioritization, margin and sales cycle management, profitability analysis, etc. Provide feedback and coaching as needed and conduct regular performance reviews with actionable feedback and development opportunities for ongoing growth.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the competitive landscape and market conditions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical product issues, enhance customer experience, and develop profitable pricing strategies and quotations that deliver value to customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent business and leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of industrial sales experience with 2+ years in a leadership role and a proven record of achieving sales targets and developing top sales talent.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills including training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Professional demeanor and effective communicator with interpersonal skills to negotiate effectively and close deals, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in CRM software with advanced MS Office skills.
  • Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, presentation, and time management skills. Outstanding attention to detail and ability to successfully manage evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of working autonomously or as part of a team and able to generate results with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
