The Quality Engineer will help support and continuously improve the Quality Management System, create/revise process work instructions, manage non-conforming material, support production with quality issues, lead production process audits and inspections, ensure supplier quality conformance, and support customer issues through troubleshooting and root cause activities. This highly visible role will interact regularly with leadership across all functional areas.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience and education.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering in an ISO 9001 certified, industrial products manufacturing environment required.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools (PFMEA, Gauge R&R, SPC, 4-Why’s, process capability analysis, control charting and Root Cause Analysis, Problem Solving Tools, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and data analysis skills, able to learn and utilize existing procedures to solve standard problems and analyze information and standard practices to make appropriate judgments.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to express yourself clearly, concisely, and in technical/non-technical terms. Collaborative operating style, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team member and with customers and suppliers.
