We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager with the drive and ambition to become a product expert in disinfection systems for the water/wastewater treatment industry.  We need someone with an interest and ability to be the technical expert, but also work closely with sales and marketing to continue to build a presence in the market for this product group.  In this role, you will drive business unit growth through strategic product and project development initiatives, and lead R&D/Engineering programs to innovate and enhance our product offerings in alignment with business unit objectives. As a key player in our team, you will oversee bid and quotation schedules, proposal development, pricing strategies, and collaborate closely with Regional Managers to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

• Champion business unit growth through proactive product and project development.
• Direct the definition of product attributes and oversee product promotion strategies.
• Drive R&D/Engineering programs to introduce new products and enhancements aligning with business objectives.
• Envision, develop, and maintain tools supporting Application Engineering, Regional Managers, Representatives, and Cooperative Partners.
• Conduct seminars and project presentations, fostering effective communication within the team.
• Develop and implement business plan programs and expenditures.
• Define and execute product marketing strategies, staying informed about competitors' activities.
• Provide technical sales training and support to Application Engineering, Regional Managers, Representatives, and Cooperative Partners.
• Review pilot testing reports and monitor bid and quotation schedules, proposal development, pricing, and pricing strategies.
• Oversee booked order and shipment performance, ensuring alignment with business plan targets.
• Collaborate with Regional Managers in the development of forecasts for booking and shipments.
• Negotiate contract language, particularly related to warranty and process guarantees.
• Support Application Engineering in reviewing bid specifications and drawings as per procedures.

Keys to This Opportunity:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5+ years in a related role.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.

• Proven leadership experience with strong written and oral communication skills for presentations at all organizational levels.
