Of Counsel/Partner Attorney - Labor & Employment Litigation (Wage & Hour)

 

Location: Sacramento, California

 

Our client, a prestigious law firm recognized in the 2024 edition of Best Law Firms®, is seeking a Partner/Of Counsel attorney to join their Labor and Employment Litigation team in Sacramento. This role offers a unique opportunity to take on a significant role within a well-respected practice, with no portable book of business required. The ideal candidate will be highly ambitious and eager to contribute to the firm's long-term succession plan.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.

  • Active California Bar Admission, in good standing.

  • 8+ years of substantive experience handling all aspects of individual, class, and collective wage-and-hour actions.

  • Strong litigation and case management skills, with the ability to handle complex legal matters independently.

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in complex labor and employment litigation matters, with a focus on wage-and-hour actions.

  • Manage cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for trial.

  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on labor and employment compliance and risk mitigation.

  • Work closely with clients to develop innovative legal strategies and solutions.

  • Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to deliver high-quality legal services.
