Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Associate Attorney to join their thriving Intellectual Property (IP) Litigation Practice Group in Dallas. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a team of seasoned litigators on cutting-edge, high-profile matters for an impressive roster of clients across the tech and innovation sectors.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.

• Active Bar Admission in Texas.

• 0–1 years of substantive experience, including relevant clerkship or summer associate experience in litigation.

• Eligible to sit for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office registration exam. 

• A technical degree is required, with a preference for Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.

• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft compelling legal arguments.

• Enthusiastic about in-office collaboration and mentorship, with a strong desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced, high-performance team.

• A team player with excellent attention to detail, work ethic, and a client-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of patent litigation in federal court and proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and briefs under the guidance of experienced attorneys.

• Collaborate with technical experts and help analyze complex technical materials in preparation for depositions and trial.

• Participate in case strategy sessions and gain exposure to hearings, depositions, and courtroom advocacy.

• Contribute to a collaborative and mentorship-driven environment focused on associate development and client service.
