Our client, a prominent Amlaw 50 firm, is seeking a highly-qualified Associate Attorney with significant experience in Hatch-Waxman litigation to join its Intellectual Property Practice Group. This opportunity is available in either the New York or Los Angeles office and offers the chance to work at the forefront of pharmaceutical patent law and regulatory strategy.
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction in good standing.
2+ years of substantive experience in Hatch-Waxman litigation and related regulatory matters.
Deep knowledge of the Hatch-Waxman Act and familiarity with the pharmaceutical patent landscape.
Experience drafting legal briefs and managing all phases of fact and expert discovery.
Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple complex matters in a team-based environment.
Technical background in chemistry, biology, or a related life sciences field.
Represent clients in high-stakes Hatch-Waxman and pharmaceutical patent litigation in federal court.
Conduct legal research and analysis related to pharmaceutical regulatory law and intellectual property protection.
Draft, edit, and review legal briefs, pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
Work closely with experts, co-counsel, and clients to manage discovery and develop case strategy.
Stay abreast of developments in pharmaceutical law and intellectual property litigation.
Collaborate with a highly experienced team of litigators to deliver results in complex IP disputes.
