A premier AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Career Attorney to join its nationally-recognized Insurance & Reinsurance Litigation Practice Group. This position is open in multiple office locations, including the firm's virtual office and offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement.
Candidate Profile
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
5+ years of substantive experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
Insurance Expertise: Demonstrated understanding of coverage issues related to professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers (D&O) policies.
Strong litigation background, including drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, managing discovery and motion practice, taking and defending depositions, and making court appearances.
Experience with client management, business development, and the independent management of cases.
Collaborative & Independent: Ability to thrive both as a team player and when working autonomously.
Soft Skills: Exceptional research, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be an innovative thinker.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Complex Matters: Represent insurers in high-stakes coverage and reinsurance disputes across a variety of complex commercial issues.
Own the Process: Take ownership of litigation strategy and case management, from initial pleadings through trial preparation and resolution.
Client Engagement: Interface directly with sophisticated clients on high-exposure matters, contributing to long-term relationships and trusted partnerships.
Grow Your Expertise: Work closely with senior attorneys in a high-profile practice known for handling some of the toughest insurance disputes in the country.

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Salary: $190,000 – $250,000, commensurate with experience.
