The Role

You’ll be a key member of a small team with the opportunity to influence how we work and our priorities.  You’ll play an important part in shaping the image and brand and have a role in deciding the future direction of the technology stack.  The company currently develops software in-house using C# MVC (Core and Standard), API, Dapper and Entity Framework and SQL Server (need to be able to research and manipulate data all on the Azure platform).  Client also works with Azure Things, Elasticsearch, PowerBI, Chatbot, Web, etc.  The company is a small fast-moving startup environment where everyone pitches in and going the extra mile is the norm.  You’ll need the following qualities to be successful:

Essential qualifications

• Several years’ experience with writing good and effective code that performs for a rapidly growing business. 
• Love to work independently and to get things done fast with consistently high quality.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Ability to work effectively in an environment with fuzzy requirements and changing priorities.
• Effective working with engineers, sales, marketing, and senior management in the business to clarify and provide excellence in the delivered product.
• Desire to do something meaningful in an old industry that is rapidly changing.
