Job Description

  • Lead the entire preconstruction process for healthcare facility projects
  • Develop and present competitive bids, budgets, and cost estimates
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to shape project strategies
  • Prepare and deliver winning presentations for project interviews
  • Analyze risks and ensure alignment with operational and financial goals
  • Maintain and report accurate cost history and project data
  • Contribute to design review and value engineering efforts
  • Support business development by maintaining strong client relationships

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in preconstruction or estimating, with 2 of those years in healthcare construction
  • Experience in the Nashville, TN market is required
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficient in construction estimating software and Microsoft Excel
  • Able to read construction documents and prepare accurate quantity takeoffs
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of local construction methods and subcontractor market
  • Valid driver’s license
