Human Resources Generalist

A global pharmaceutical company in Northern New Jersey is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to manage HR functions for its NJ office. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a wide range of HR responsibilities, including payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, recruitment, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll & Benefits:

    • Oversee payroll processing and attendance tracking.
    • Manage benefits administration, reconcile benefits statements, and conduct internal audits for payroll, 401(k), and workers' compensation.
  • Recruitment:

    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
    • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Employee Relations & Performance Management:

    • Administer performance reviews and communicate HR policies.
    • Provide guidance to managers on disciplinary actions and resolve employee relations issues.
  • HR Operations & Compliance:

    • Ensure accurate completion of new hire paperwork and maintain employee files.
    • Assist with compliance efforts and prepare written HR communications.
  • Training & Development:

    • Coordinate employee training programs and lead orientations for new hires.
    • Conduct competency-based interviews and identify areas for process improvement.
