An AmLaw 50 international law firm is seeking mid-level Real Estate Associates for its Chicago office. The role requires candidates with 4-6 years of experience, particularly in areas of real estate financing, lender representation, co-lender/intercreditor agreements, and commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS).
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Must be bar certified in Illinois.
- 4-6 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on financing, lender representation, and CMBS.
- Excellent verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal expertise in real estate financing and lender representation.
- Engage in drafting and negotiating co-lender and intercreditor agreements.
- Handle legal aspects of commercial mortgage-backed securities.
- Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys on complex real estate transactions.
