A leading national firm is seeking an Employment & Labor Associate Attorney with 2 – 6 years of experience to join its dynamic and collaborative practice serving high-profile clients across northern California.
Offices include San Francisco, Palo Alto, Silicon Valley, and Sacramento.
The ideal candidate will handle a broad range of employment and labor matters, including:
Employment litigation and complex commercial disputes involving single- and multi-plaintiff cases in federal and state courts, arbitration, and administrative proceedings.
Wage and hour, discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, and class or representative (PAGA) actions.
Employment counseling on compliance, policies, investigations, and day-to-day HR issues.
Drafting and reviewing employment, separation, confidentiality, and related agreements.
Taking and defending depositions, preparing discovery responses, drafting pleadings, arguing motions, and participating in mediations or settlement conferences.
2 – 6 years of relevant employment and labor law experience (litigation and/or counseling).
Strong academic credentials and exceptional legal writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing.
Demonstrated ability to manage matters independently while collaborating within a team.
Experience advising or litigating for clients in the technology, venture capital, or life-sciences sectors is a plus.
Base Salary Range: $210,000 – $390,000 (depending on experience, qualifications, and location).
