Our client is seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to lead day-to-day onsite coordination across all phases of commercial construction projects. This role ensures subcontractors, materials, equipment, inspections, and safety processes are aligned with project plans, budgets, and timelines.
You’ll be the boots-on-the-ground leader driving quality, safety, and schedule — the person who keeps everything moving and everyone accountable.
Coordinate, schedule, and manage subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to maintain critical path schedules.
Oversee all onsite work to ensure compliance with specifications, plans, and safety standards.
Review and communicate ASIs, RFIs, and submittals with the project team.
Enforce subcontractor performance, safety, and adherence to scope.
Coordinate all required inspections with local jurisdictions.
Identify conflicts, deficiencies, or non-compliance issues and escalate for resolution.
Maintain a written daily log of onsite activity.
Oversee multiple job sites simultaneously as needed.
Walk all units daily to monitor progress and plan upcoming work.
Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
Issue notices of non-compliance when required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all times.
Complete punch lists, closeout activities, and ensure subcontractor corrections are finished.
Assist with subcontractor bidding, budgeting, permits, and approvals.
Manage material submittals and maintain onsite documentation.
Support hiring of sub-tier workers as needed.
Open and secure jobsite daily.
Minimum of three (3) years’ verifiable experience as a Superintendent or similar role.
Strong knowledge of commercial construction, including ground-up projects.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and safety guidelines.
Experience using Procore, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to lead and resolve issues among 30+ subcontractors and vendors.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify deficient work and correct it.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and navigate stairs, heights, and uneven terrain daily.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong customer service mindset and professional demeanor.
Ability to multitask, adapt to changes, and manage competing priorities.
Must be able to travel to assigned jobsites.
Supervise all subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and Assistant Superintendents daily.
Ensure adequate manpower and performance on all assigned tasks.
Monitor onsite security and enforce safety and quality control programs.
Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Exposure to wet/humid environments, moving machinery, heights, fumes, extreme temperatures, and loud noise.
Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 75 lbs.
Use of computer, phone, and jobsite equipment required.
Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
