The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations of this plant. This role ensures that production processes are maintained and operational efficiency is maximized. This includes Production, Inventory Control, Quality Employee Relations, Safety and budget accountability. The primary goal is optimizing output and meeting production targets while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met.

Lead the maintenance team in planning and performing preventive and corrective maintenance.

·  Ensure all equipment is in good working condition to avoid production delays or shutdowns.

 Analyze and optimize production processes, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency.

Ensure that the plant associates adhere to all safety and environmental standards.

Develop and manage budgets.

Supervise, train, and develop teams while fostering a culture of collaboration.

Provide hands-on leadership in resolving production and equipment issues.

Leverage Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive continuous improvement.

Lead projects related to production upgrades, new equipment installation, and plant expansion.

Maintain records of production metrics, downtime, maintenance activities, and key performance indicators.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment.

·  Proven leadership with a focus on optimizing production and minimizing downtime.

Strong understanding of production operations, equipment maintenance, and plant systems.

·  Experience with continuous improvement tools like Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

·   Ability to lead cross-functional teams, particularly in production and maintenance.
