LABOR & EMPLOYMENT PARTNER (ATTORNEY) - WAGE & HOUR ACTIONS

Location: Orange County, California

 

Our client, a prestigious law firm recognized in the 2024 edition of Best Law Firms®, is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Litigation Partner to join their Orange County office in Newport Beach. This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle all aspects of individual, class, and collective wage-and-hour actions with no portable book of business required. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and eager to take on significant responsibilities while contributing to the firm's long-term succession plan.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.

  • Active California Bar Admission, in good standing.

  • 9+ years of significant experience handling all aspects of wage & hour litigation, including individual, class, and collective actions.

  • Strong litigation and case management skills, with the ability to handle complex legal matters independently.

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in complex labor and employment litigation matters, with a focus on wage & hour disputes.

  • Manage cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for trial.

  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on labor and employment compliance and risk mitigation.

  • Work closely with clients to develop innovative legal strategies and solutions.

  • Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to deliver high-quality legal services.
