Forklift Operator – Details:

Shift: Flexible schedule, 5 days per week between Monday–Sunday:

• 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (B Shift)

• 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM (C Shift)

Wage:

• $24.07/hour (probationary rate)

• $26.75/hour (full rate)

Premiums:

• $0.75/hour for any hours worked between 7:00 PM and 5:00 AM

• $0.50/hour for any hours worked in the freezer in the warehouse

As a member of the warehouse team, you are required to complete various warehouse duties, including working in a cold environment.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Staging / set up of packaging materials in respective packaging departments

• Picking and storing of raw materials

• Preparation of next day's receiving tickets

• Receiving of raw materials

• Locating products in the warehouse; use of forklift required

• Order selection and loading of trailers

• Housekeeping of the receiving and shipping areas

• Inventory cycle counts

• Working with power equipment, hi-reach forklifts and walkies

• Adherence to procedures, safety practices and policy

Position Requirements:

• Forklift certification

• Stand-up reach truck experience, preferably Crown, required

• Comfortable working in cold temperatures (freezer and refrigeration)

• Scheduling flexibility

• Ability to work independently, well organized, effective judgment

• Proficient with computer applications and comfortable learning new systems

• Focused on detail, accuracy, and a strong mathematical aptitude

• Cooperative and works well with others; strong communicator
