Position Summary 

Responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive, proactive strategies to maximize organizational revenue through the creation and execution of special events and promotions. This role ensures high-quality guest service standards are exemplified and upheld by all team members and provides leadership across event planning, promotional design, and departmental coordination. 

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Creates, writes, and implements engaging and profitable promotions for the organization and its associated entities. 

  • Manages all special events and collaborates with Marketing leadership to design and implement event concepts. 

  • Reports on the effectiveness and profitability of promotions and events in accordance with established Marketing procedures. 

  • Maintains calendars, timelines, and schedules for upcoming promotions and special events. 

  • Establishes and maintains vendor relationships for on-site promotions and events. 

  • Sets up and executes promotional events and giveaways; responsible for kiosk promotions and event setup. 

  • Coordinates with Purchasing to order supplies for promotions and maintains accurate inventory. 

  • Secures necessary approvals and signatures for all promotions and special events. 

  • Responds to audit findings and makes required changes or corrections. 

  • Creates tag codes, promotional IDs, prize IDs, vouchers, and related criteria for players’ club and kiosk systems. 

  • Communicates with relevant departments when coordinating promotions and special events. 

  • Partners with graphics and creative teams to produce promotional materials, advertisements, and collateral. 

  • Manages communication of promotional and event details to team members and the public. 

  • Researches and procures supplies and materials for events. 

  • Hires, schedules, and supervises promotions and event staff, including oversight of payroll and any overtime. 

  • Promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service. 

  • Encourages a welcoming atmosphere for team members and supports skill development. 

  • Conducts meetings and distributes information regarding upcoming promotions and events. 

  • Assists with marketing functions as needed. 

  • Performs additional duties as assigned. 

 

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field required. 

  • Three (3) years of prior casino experience in Promotions, Special Events, Entertainment, or Sponsorships required. 

  • Five (5) years of Marketing, Promotions, or Special Events experience preferred. 

  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
