Overview: Our client is a leading Market Research / Information Services firm seeking jr. to mid-level Business Development Managers with 2-3 years B2B sales experience.
Responsibilities:
Prospect, qualify, and provide demos of Market Research services to new clients and close new business opportunities
Achieve / exceed monthly sales revenue targets based on new business
Track pipeline and account activity in Salesforce and provide sales forecasts to management
Prepare account plans with short and long term revenue goals
Prepare demos / proposals and successfully negotiate to win new business
Work proactively with the broader team including Client Services, Analysts, and Consultants
Manage the pipeline of new business from client prospect to close
Experience:
2-3 years of B2B subscription sales experience (Software, Research, Media / Publishing, Info Services, etc) will be key for this role
Experience managing a full sales-cycle, and consistent track record of achieving sales / revenue targets
Understands various sales methodologies like value selling, target account selling, solutions selling, strategic selling
Proven ability to engage with decision makers and manage the sales process from start to close
Excellent communicator with client relationship building, meeting facilitation, and presentation skills
Strong new business focus with experience building an account base from the ground up
Bachelor's degree
