Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Manager to support the financial operations of the school system. This role is responsible for ensuring fiscal compliance, overseeing budget management, and managing grant funding processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in educational finance, state and federal compliance, and grant administration, with a proven ability to balance technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3–5 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in an education or non-profit setting.
  • Knowledge of state and federal compliance regulations and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience with grant management and budget monitoring.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Proficiency in financial software, spreadsheets (Excel), and reporting tools.
 
This role will sit ONSITE out of Grand Rapids, MI.
