Job Summary

Are you an experienced Agile Scrum Master with a strong background in IT project coordination, team collaboration, and vendor management? This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with IT teams, driving Agile methodologies while ensuring successful project delivery and operational excellence. You’ll also contribute to optimizing vendor relationships and contract management in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Scrum Facilitation

  • Serve as Scrum Master for IT teams, leading Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and adherence to Agile principles.
  • Identify and resolve project roadblocks to ensure timely and successful delivery.

Project Coordination & Team Support

  • Collaborate with IT leadership to maintain well-defined and prioritized backlogs.
  • Use JIRA and other tools to track team progress and provide stakeholders with actionable updates.

Vendor & Contracts Management

  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure compliance with project requirements and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Support contract evaluation, procurement processes, and negotiations to align with project objectives.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the liaison between IT teams, stakeholders, and business units to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Promote Agile best practices to build a transparent and cohesive working environment.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years as a Scrum Master in an IT environment.
  • Expertise in JIRA and Confluence, including workflows, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience in vendor and contracts management is a significant advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT infrastructure projects.
  • Previous experience in industries such as financial services or human capital management systems is a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
