Purpose of the Role
The accountant is responsible for developing pricing/costing schemes at various levels and providing recommendations for improvements related to structures and product profitability. Additionally, the accountant will perform other accounting activities involving business insurance, exchange rates, and cash flow management.
Key Responsibilities
- Pricing Analysis: Prepare and analyze all pricing-related issues.
- Data Management: Maintain pricing-related files and databases to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
- Reporting: Prepare periodic pricing reports, including marketing and competitive pricing analyses for Senior Management.
- Product Pricing: Provide suggested prices for new products.
- Financial Review: Review costs and other financial reports related to pricing issues.
- Insurance Management: Handle and manage all aspects of business insurance policy administration.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow effectively.
- Exchange Rates: Prepare quarterly “LLC exchange rates” and monthly spot rates for commission calculations.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality over sensitive information processed.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as needed to meet business requirements.

- Accounting Knowledge: Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Experience & Education
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in accounting and/or finance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Preferred Experience: Previous experience in cost accounting, CPA license is a plus.
- Work Environment: Experience in a fast-paced working environment.
