About the Role:We’re looking for a highly skilled Frontend Software Engineer to join a fast-paced product team focused on building high-performance, visually stunning web applications. You’ll play a key role in creating responsive, animated UIs that deliver exceptional user experiences, working closely with designers and backend engineers to bring ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities:

Build and scale modern React applications using Next.js and TypeScript
-
Implement pixel-perfect UIs from Figma designs with advanced styling and animation techniques (Tailwind CSS, transitions, GSAP)
-
Optimize web performance through caching strategies, server-side rendering (SSR), static generation (SSG), and server components
-
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers in a fast-paced, iteration-driven environment
-
Contribute to code reviews, technical planning, and continuous improvement of the development process
Minimum Qualifications:
-
3–6 years of professional experience building frontend applications with React and Next.js
-
Strong expertise in CSS, including Tailwind or SCSS, responsive design, layout systems, and animation libraries (e.g., GSAP)
-
Proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend tooling
-
Demonstrated experience scaling complex web apps and shipping polished, performant UIs
-
Strong portfolio or GitHub showcasing high-quality, interactive user interfaces
-
Background working in high-growth startups, leading tech companies, or elite academic institutions
-
Willingness to work onsite in NYC or relocate prior to start
-
Availability to complete a paid take-home project as part of the interview process
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with GSAP, Three.js, or React Three Fiber (R3F)

Experience with React Server Components, App Router, ISR/SSG/SSR optimization

Exposure to CDN configuration and caching strategies

Background in internationalization (i18n/l10n)

Experience in marketing tech, AI, SEO, or prior startup/founder experience

Participation in elite tech ecosystems (YC, SF/NYC, etc.)
