We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Data Analyst | HR & Compensation to join our team, focusing on compensation solutions for a variety of professional groups. This remote role requires residency in Southern California due to occasional on-site meetings. It offers an exciting opportunity to combine data analysis with high-level stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will be skilled in facilitating discussions, analyzing compensation data, and delivering compelling presentations to senior leaders to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Lead and facilitate meetings with senior leaders, guiding discussions on compensation strategies and program development.
  • Present data-driven insights, trends, and recommendations to influence decision-making, managing discussions with knowledgeable stakeholders.

Data Analysis:

  • Evaluate compensation data to identify trends, conduct light modeling, and provide strategic insights.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills for data interpretation and presentation.

Presentation Development:

  • Develop polished, executive-ready PowerPoint presentations that simplify complex data into actionable insights.
  • Confidently present findings and recommendations to leadership teams.

Program Support:

  • Act as a consultant for professional groups, assisting in designing and implementing compensation programs.
  • Work with data providers to ensure accurate and timely information for analysis and reporting.

Meeting Management:

  • Participate in and prepare for a high volume of meetings in a fast-paced, collaboration-heavy environment.

Qualifications

Must-Haves

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, data modeling, trend analysis).
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, with experience creating executive-level presentations.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong executive presence and professionalism when engaging with senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead discussions effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident and approachable demeanor.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in HR or compensation strategy (preferred but not required).
  • Familiarity with HR systems or databases (training provided if needed).
  • Background in data analysis or consulting with experience presenting to leadership.
