We’re seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and support of secure, scalable network infrastructure across a large, distributed enterprise. This hands-on role blends technical depth with strategic foresight to ensure reliability, performance, and security across all sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect, implement, and manage enterprise-wide networks (routing, switching, SD-WAN, wireless, firewalls).
Troubleshoot complex issues and provide Tier 2/3 support across core and remote environments.
Drive automation, documentation, and network standardization.
Support DR planning, capacity optimization, and system availability initiatives.
Perform lifecycle management of hardware, backups, upgrades, and patches.
Mentor junior engineers and uphold governance standards.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in network engineering within enterprise environments.
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience (+2 years).
Relevant certifications: CCNP, JNCIP, JNCIS (or equivalent expertise).
Deep knowledge of:
Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, IP subnetting
Juniper, Cisco, and Aruba technologies (ClearPass, Fabric Manager)
SD-WAN (VeloCloud), wireless (802.11x, RF design)
Firewalls (Juniper, Cisco ASA; Palo Alto preferred), packet capture tools, load balancers
Enterprise services: DNS, DHCP, AD, VoIP
Strong documentation, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work evenings/weekends and occasional travel as needed.
Nice to Have:
Experience managing 200+ site networks
Aruba NCP/APC certifications
Familiarity with networked storage (iSCSI, FCoE)
Experience leading large-scale upgrade projects
