We are looking for a Senior Director of Operations to lead and optimize a network of cross-functional service locations combining retail and clinical components. This role is best suited for a hands-on, results-oriented executive with a track record of improving performance in distributed, multi-site environments—particularly those requiring coordination between customer-facing retail and licensed professional services.
Proven track record of leadership in multi-unit operations across both retail and service-based environments
Demonstrated success in turning around underperforming business units
In-depth understanding of field operations across 30+ locations
Skilled at driving collaboration between operational, clinical, and customer service teams
Experienced in financial accountability, including EBITDA variance analysis and planning
Ability to support both existing sites and ground-up (de novo) location expansion
Comfortable operating under close executive oversight in a change-driven environment
Effective communicator with strong cross-functional influence across business units
8–10 years of experience in multi-site operations, ideally with crossover between retail and regulated services
Experience leading large, geographically dispersed field teams
Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, healthcare administration, or a related field
Proven experience with full P&L ownership and financial performance improvement
Experience launching new sites and implementing scalable operational systems
Understanding of how front-line services can support licensed professionals (e.g., referral workflows or service escalation)
Strong process builder with the ability to develop operational structures from scratch
Willingness to be onsite regularly (3–5 days/week) and travel frequently across regions
Highly analytical, with a performance-driven management style
Prior work in integrated service organizations (e.g., combining retail with healthcare, wellness, or professional services)
Experience in private equity-backed or rapid-growth businesses
Familiarity with virtual service delivery (e.g., telehealth or remote consultation)
Background in talent development and leading hybrid teams across disciplines
Knowledge of compliance requirements in regulated customer-facing environments (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, ADA)
Experience is limited to retail or services-only environments without cross-functional integration
Lacks experience managing both financial outcomes and operational strategy
No background in managing combined clinical and consumer-facing operations
Struggles with cross-team communication or influencing outside of direct reporting lines
Unwilling to travel regularly or work onsite across distributed locations
