What You’ll Be Doing
Lead the long-term analyzer technology roadmap to support future business growth.
Partner with Product Management to define technical requirements for evolving process applications.
Bring advances in electrical, electronic, and chemical engineering into new analyzer designs.
Ensure technology development meets market timing, Stage-Gate expectations, regulatory needs, and manufacturability goals.
Maintain and protect intellectual assets, including documentation, lab records, and proprietary methods.
Serve as the subject matter expert for analyzer operation and performance.
Support engineering teams in solving complex design and operational challenges.
Contribute to first-article evaluations, obsolescence reviews, and cost-reduction efforts.
Guide new product launches from ideation through Alpha, Beta, and commercial release.
Represent the business at conferences and events by presenting technical work that highlights product differentiation.
What You’ll Bring to the Job
PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Physics.
5+ years of industrial or post-doctoral experience developing analytical instrumentation in an industrial, lab, or chemical manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of chemical instrumentation such as spectroscopy, chromatography, electrochemistry, and advanced sensor technologies.
Practical understanding of electronics for chemical sensors including circuit design and ultra-low current measurement techniques.
Experience with advanced data analysis methods, including chemometric modeling, multivariate techniques, and pattern-recognition tools.
Familiarity with machine learning approaches used to interpret complex analytical signals, including neural network methods.
Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
