What You’ll Be Doing:
Support the design and analysis of fire protection, life safety, and building code systems.
Prepare calculations, reports, and technical documentation for various facility types.
Assist with drawing preparation and coordination using AutoCAD and Revit.
Conduct field visits and site surveys to evaluate building conditions.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams on integrated design solutions.
Review design documents to ensure compliance with fire codes and standards.
Participate in client meetings and present design recommendations.
Contribute to troubleshooting and resolving project issues with senior staff.
Learn industry standards and design best practices through hands-on experience.
Provide support across multiple ongoing projects simultaneously.
What You’ll Bring to the Job:
Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
0–3 years of experience in a consulting or multi-discipline engineering environment.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit preferred.
Willingness to work in-office in the Bethesda or Baltimore area with occasional travel.
Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
