Ashton North is partnering with a Global Manufacturing Client in the search for a Lead Electronics Engineer to join their advanced product engineering team in Greenwood, MS. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of premium kitchen appliances through technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and innovation in electronics design.
As the Lead Electronics Engineer, you’ll take ownership of the electronic controls and subsystems that power next-generation appliances. From early-stage concept through full production, you will drive the development process, ensure robust system integration, and deliver top-tier performance and reliability.
This position is ideal for a technically strong, hands-on engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment and is ready to lead complex projects from the front.
Lead design and development of electronic controls and subsystems across multiple product platforms
Translate high-level product requirements and industrial design inputs into detailed electronic specifications
Manage supplier relationships and oversee component and system validation efforts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and launch innovative product features
Create and execute software/hardware test plans and ensure compliance with domestic and international standards
Support manufacturing with test equipment specifications and validation tools
Develop diagnostics and service documentation to aid post-launch support
Contribute to cost-reduction, quality improvement, and technology exploration initiatives
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required
5+ years of experience in electronic controls development, ideally in consumer products or appliance manufacturing
Demonstrated success managing full product lifecycle projects
Strong technical foundation in electronics, software integration, and control algorithms
Effective communicator and problem-solver who enjoys cross-functional collaboration
Preferred qualifications include:
Experience in the appliance industry
Familiarity with statistical design and reliability methods
