Local Remote Executive Assistant to Entrepreneur / Founder, Lake Oswego, OR / Beverly Hills/Santa Monica, CA (or within range for occasional commute to either location)

The founder of a well-funded technology platform committed to making the legal system more accessible by delivering high-quality, affordable legal services to pro se litigants is seeking an experienced and highly capable professional to serve as a right-hand Executive Assistant. The role is primarily remote, with the ideal candidate based within range for an occasional commute (1-2 times/month) to Lake Oswego, OR or Beverly Hills/Santa Monica, CA. The position requires strong research, writing, and oral communication skills. The ideal candidate is organized and proactive, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and has an aptitude for working both collaboratively and independently. Help drive meaningful change by making the legal system more accessible.

About the Job:

·       Provide comprehensive executive support, serving as a strategic partner to the founder.

·        Complete research assignments and other projects.

·        Prepare reports, presentations, agendas, and other documents.

·        Manage social media platforms.

·        Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

·        Streamline workflows and automate processes to maximize efficiency.

·        Proactively ensure follow-through on key tasks and deadlines.

About You:

·       Preference for three to five years’ experience supporting C-level executives preferably in a startup environment, but all applicants are welcome.

·       BA/BS from a college or university; preference for candidates with JD and/or paralegal certification.

·       Strong desire to be a part of driving meaningful change in how legal services are delivered.

·       Excellent research, writing, and oral communication skills.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe, Canva, DocuSign; experience with LexisNexis and/or Westlaw a plus.

·       Ability to use AI tools to generate research reports.

·       Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and act with urgency.

·       Strong attention to detail and a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

·       Proactive self-starter with the ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and work independently, no task too big or too small mentality.

·       Personable, with a polished and professional demeanor.
