Our client, an international cloud-based booking and property management platform, is looking for a Customer Onboarding Specialist to drive the onboarding process of property owners on their comprehensive digital platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Take ownership of each customer from initial remote training to online account activation
• Ensure that a property’s content and rate set up is completed according to best practice in order to maximize performance on their own website and OTAs (Expedia, Booking.com etc.) using the technology suite
• Follow the steps of the onboarding process to the letter
• Resolve technical implementation issues where possible, otherwise escalate to technical support or distribution team
• Work with other team members to develop new training methodologies, additional client resources and documentation to support client training (e.g. help guides, email templates etc.)
• Provide accurate reporting for all client contact and training on CRM
CANDIDATE PROFILE
• Must be currently based in Austin area and eligible to work in the US
• University degree is required
• 2-3 years’ experience in a customer onboarding role, product support or technical helpdesk role
• Excellent problem solving & analytical skills – Proven experience in troubleshooting technical issues
• Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize
• Comfortable with a highly structured work environment that meticulously follows different steps
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Polite, professional, calm under pressure and self-motivated to meet targets
• Ability to convey complex technical information in a simplified and easy to understand manner
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/ Website editing and experience with CMS (e.g. WordPress) is a plus
