We are looking for an Electrical Applications Engineer to join our customer in Grand Rapids, MI. Your focus will be on providing technical support, developing customized solutions, and delivering product training. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical contact for customer support via phone, email, and occasional on-site visits
- Deliver product training sessions and technical seminars to customers and partners
- Troubleshoot, configure, and support customer-specific automation applications
- Maintain accurate documentation, and technical records
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or Industrial Engineering (or a related field).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing engineering role
- Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens)
- Understanding of standard field bus structures
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 15–20%
