Title: Maintenance Manager - Co-Packing Plant:

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily operation of the Food Co-Packing equipment and operations.
• Work with Production Supervisors / Operators on various issues.
• Repairs, labor and resources, as well as order parts and keep inventory of spare parts.
• Work with Plant Manager to develop Preventative maintenance schedules.
• Food Safety: Learn and develop relevant CFR regulations for Food / Dietary Supplements.
• Work with shop to make improvements, modify or create tooling, and Kaizen Projects.

Additional DUTIES:

• Communicate relevant information to employees on shift & on-coming shift.
• Recruit, Train, Develop Craftsman to maintain plant equipment.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work occasional longer days
• Competence with Lathe, CNC, CAD
• Basic Electrical
• Able to read and understand schematics

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance management
• Basic mechanics, welding, electrical, fabrication, preventative maintenance.
• Refrigerated foods processing, food packaging and mixers.
• Be able to recognize problem situations and take appropriate steps to resolve.
• Leadership and team skills (interpersonal, leading teams, communication)

Education and Training

• High school diploma w/ maintenance experience; a technical or trade school certificate is a plus.
• Proven experience in maintenance and at least 5 years in a maintenance or engineering role.
