Working for a World-class Satellite Systems Design Company. Managing a SatCom Engineering Team:  Oversee Team to support SatCom Hardware products and services.  Oversee testing, troubleshooting and analysis: Work with Installation Teams, Product Development and Sales to drive new innovative Satellite Communications Hardware Solutions.

 

Responsibilities• Manage and monitor New Satellite systems.• Manage Engineering Support Teams to customers, sales and operations.• Managing the Testing, Satellite Ground Station Design, troubleshooting and documenting solutions.•Manage troubleshooting fabrication challenges, Oversee issues with electrical and electro-mechanical systems.• Comply with government regulations and standards.• Lead Best engineering practices.• Stay up to date on current Satellite Networks and New Satellite Hardware trends.• Utilize Electrical and Mechanical Engineering enhancements to improvement our Satellite Hardware Systems.• Travel will be required as needed, domestic and international.• Provide product training to fellow Managers, Engineering Staff and our Customers.

 

Qualifications• BS/MS Degree in Electrical Engineering or ABET-accredited program.• RF Knowledge and Satellite Communications aptitude is a plus.• TCP/IP, routing and switching.• AutoCAD, Draftsight, Visio, and Solidworks PDM a plus.• Written, oral communication and multi-tasking skills.• Must be able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance upon hire.• Previous Experience working with Military Satcom equipment a Plus.

 

Financials: $160K -180K Base + Bonus
