HSE Engineer

Location: Winona, Minnesota

Job Description:

• Implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.
• Regular inspections and audits of workplace facilities, equipment, and processes.
• Analyze HSE data and trends, and develop recommendations and action plans.
• Training and education programs for employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near-misses, and prepare corrective actions taken.
• Emergency response planning and drills, emergency preparedness and response activities.
• Environmental management, including waste management, pollution prevention, and recycling.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits of subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors. t
• Promote culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
• Prepare regulatory reports for air, water, and waste as required by the regulations.
• Industrial Hygiene program including risk assessments and monitoring as needed.
• Lead the site Emergency Response Team.

Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering or Science.
• 2-5 years’ experience working as a HSE (desired).
• EPA, OSHA, Federal and State regulations.
• Chemical, petrochemical, Composites a Plus
• Great personal skills and technical aptitude, including the ability to learn quickly

Compensation:

Base: $90K -120K + Bonus

6 weeks of Vacation, Full-Benefits(Matching 401K etc.)
