Construction Project Manager
Full-Time: Location: La Crosse, WI
Base Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 + Bonus
About the Role:
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project design, estimating, bidding, and construction planning
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses
- Plan labor, equipment, and materials within budget limits
- Build and manage project schedules
- Hire and oversee contractors and staff
- Track progress and prepare reports
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience with wood or steel structure construction (commercial, agricultural, warehouse, retail, or industrial)
- 4+ years of construction project management experience
- Degree in construction management or related field (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and materials
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license and insurable
Experience & Education:
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in business management, construction management, or related field is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of project management or supervisory experience in the construction industry
- Preferably experienced in leading medium to large commercial or industrial projects
