Territory Sales Manager – Sports SurfacingLocation: Fort Walton Beach, FL (Travel Required)

With operations based in Fort Walton Beach, FL and active projects across the Southeast and Midwest, we bring premium-quality track systems to educational institutions, municipalities, and sports facilities nationwide. We’re looking for a motivated sales professional ready to drive growth and deliver turnkey solutions in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Position Overview:

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving business development and managing client relationships throughout a designated region. You’ll work closely with athletic directors, coaches, facility managers, architects, and contractors to identify project opportunities and provide end-to-end support on running track and athletic surface installations.

This role blends outside sales, account management, and light project coordination—ideal for a driven professional with experience in construction or building materials, especially within the sports or education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers in your assigned territory
  • Build a sales pipeline by engaging stakeholders including school officials, designers, and contractors
  • Present solutions through product knowledge, technical specs, and visual samples
  • Prepare competitive proposals and quotes in response to bid opportunities and leads
  • Support project teams on contracts, material procurement, schedules, and documentation
  • Conduct job site visits and serve as a key contact during installations to ensure client satisfaction
  • Offer value-engineering suggestions to optimize costs and project outcomes
  • Manage change orders, billing communication, and project close-out tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or construction management preferred
  • 3+ years of sales experience in construction, building materials, or related industries
  • Experience in sports surfacing or athletic facility development is a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently throughout the U.S.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
