Position Overview: As the Sales Director, you will be instrumental in leading our sales team and executing innovative marketing strategies. Your role will encompass managing key accounts, leading a team of 5 across several departments, overseeing sales reps, and collaborating with operations and design teams to enhance our market presence. You will be a key driver in both B2B marketing efforts and web management, ensuring our brand's growth and success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Management: Lead B2B sales, manage key accounts, and oversee rep performance.
  • Customer Service: Ensure top-notch service for our clients and address any issues that arise.
  • Web Management: Oversee our online presence and web-related initiatives and third party sites.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with operations and design teams to align sales and marketing efforts with company goals.
  • Tradeshow Representation: Lead and represent the company at industry trade shows and events.
  • Market Understanding: Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in B2B sales, with at least 5 years in a management role
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in the gift and home decor industry, must have extensive experience of working with national chains. Existing relationships are a plus.
  • Skills: Proficient in sales management, customer service, rep management, and B2B marketing strategies. Strong experience in merchandising and people management.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with ERP and Shopify is a plus.
  • Personality: Hands-on, multi-tasker, team player and a go-getter with a proactive approach.
