The Inside Sales Associate will have the overall responsibility to manage all aspects for customer related activities for our clients OEM business . In this key role the Inside Sales Associate will be focused on increasing our partnership, value proposition, product qualification opportunities, design wins, and product revenue with OEMs and Manufacture Representatives. These efforts are intended to drive our clients memory product volumes and have a significant impact on business growth and overall sales and product margin.
This person will report to the Director of OEM Sales and will work side by side with the Director of OEM Sales to identify new customers, support existing customers in North America. The Inside Sales Associate will be responsible for interacting and coordinating at multiple levels within our organization beginning at the earliest stages of design where working relationships will be formed with both engineering, marketing and operation to close design wins at these key customers.
The Inside Sales Associate must be able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment in order to achieve goals and be comfortable working with the various departments within the organization. Relevant and current relationships with OEMs, System Integrators, Enterprise, DataCenter, and HyperScale customers are a key benefit for this role. Proven success and knowledge in working with a Manufacturer’s Representative network is also a critical aspect for this position.
Qualifications and essential responsibilities:
• Manage the flow of information and communication between our organization and customers with the objective of maintaining strong customer relations• Coordinate with internal resources to ensure that customer commitments are met• Ability to self-generate leads and assist with obtaining new target customers• Provide direction to and assist with managing the Manufacturers’ Sales Representatives• Capture accurate and complete customer opportunity information while tracking qualifications• Obtain required information in order to process sales orders, quotes and samples request to drive new business• Coordinate with customer and our internal Accounting team to set up new account and payment terms • Assist with gathering input and reviewing customer demand forecast for planning purposes • Review, process and manage leads from the company website • Good organization skills and ability to multi-task, establish timelines and manage priorities• A sense of urgency, self-motivation and commitment to do what it takes to get the job done• Receive and ship orders while processing necessary paperwork to ensure shipments on time• Process RMA requests to meet customer’s standards• Other duties as assigned
Experience/Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree with relevant coursework preferred• 1-3 years of inside sales experience required.• Direct experience in the computer hardware OEMs, storage or memory technology field a major plus• Knowledge in working with a Manufacturer’s Rep network• Proven success in understanding customer service, sales principles and support concepts • Self-starter with the ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment• Proven ability to be a team player as well as an individual contributor • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Excellent telephone sales skills• Proficient with all Microsoft applications• Must have excellent time management and the ability to prioritize daily
