Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth by building strategic partnerships, expanding client relationships, and positioning the company as a leader in diagnostic solutions. This individual will focus on developing new business opportunities, nurturing key accounts, and ensuring revenue growth in a competitive and fast-moving healthcare landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in diagnostics, pathology, and healthcare services.
  • Build and manage relationships with hospitals, physician groups, labs, and strategic partners.
  • Own the sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (scientific, clinical, operations) to deliver tailored client solutions.
  • Track market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform business strategy.
  • Represent the company at key conferences, industry events, and client meetings.
  • Provide regular pipeline reports and forecasting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3-5 years of business development or sales experience in diagnostics, life sciences, or healthcare.
  • Proven record of consistently achieving/exceeding revenue goals.
  • Established network within healthcare and diagnostics preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
