French Connection Staffing is recruiting a Key Account Manager in the Houston, TX area to promote and sell a wide range of products to restaurants, hotels, country clubs and other venues in need of ingredients and other necessary food products. This is an exciting opportunity to grow the company’s presence in the Chicago, IL market. The company has a large presence throughout the US. This is a full-time opportunity with competitive salary, benefits and commission structure.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential clients, including restaurants, hotels, caterers, and specialty food stores.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of products and effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to drive business.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals and ensure timely product delivery.
- Oversee a $1 million book of business, with opportunities for upselling and growth.
- Stay informed on industry trends and market opportunities.
- Meet or exceed sales goals and provide regular performance updates to management.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Experience in food service or retail, preferably with gourmet or frozen food products.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present and negotiate with clients.
- Relationship-focused with the ability to maintain long-term client connections.
- Passion for gourmet food and culinary trends.
