We are looking for Production Supervisors in the Dayton, Oh area. This is a 90-day temp-to-hire position.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The supervisor typically has a wide range of responsibilities for his/her department. This includes coordinating with other supervisors to ensure that projects are completed on time, ensuring that all safety regulations are followed by workers. Supervisor must approve workers’ hours and vacation requests in OnRamp in a timely manner.

II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Supervisor will be required to be flexible with his/her schedule. Due to production needs, you may be required to work a split shift.
• You must have experience in driving a forklift as needed.
• This position requires at least basis knowledge of reading prints and know how to use calipers, protectors, and; a measuring tape.
• Wears appropriate safety equipment for work being performed and as directed by company policy.
• Maintains a safe work environment through good housekeeping practices.

III. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Clerical level oral communication skills
• Must have at least 2-3 years preferably more as a supervisor.
• Basic computer skills and have used excel. Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pound occasionally.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time

Shift is flexible so must be able to work all shifts

Must pass the Digital Caliper test (I have attached and you should administer the test to applicants under consideration).

Must have experience in operating CNC Equipment.

Experience in doing work orders would be beneficial.

Need to be flexible for any shift but will start and train on 1st shift ( training will be for 2 weeks or more depending on how fast you learn) The supervisor position is a rotating shift with a rotating shift between 1st 2nd and 3rd.
