We are looking for Assembler/ Step Cell in the Dayton, Oh area. This is a 90-day temp-to-hire position.

I. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assembles products using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners, and when necessary, packs in designated carton according to customer specification sheet and company policies.

II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs simple to complex assemblies.
• Understands schedule requirements.
• Uses power and hand tools necessary to the production of parts.
• Maintains inventory of component parts and notify appropriate person when stock is low.
• Prepares product for and understand line sequencing.
• Packs parts on skids or in bins in manner directed by the customer.
• Wears appropriate safety equipment for work being performed and as directed by company policy.
• Maintains a safe work environment through good housekeeping practices.
• All other duties as assigned.

III. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Successfully complete on-the-job training.
• Physical strength sufficient to lift and carry 25 pounds frequently.
• Physical ability to do work requiring continuous standing, and frequent stooping and bending.
• Sufficient visual acuity to read instructions, operate hand tools, and visually inspect parts produced.

Must have open availability & able to work weekends: Hours for the position are 2nd Shift 2:30 pm -11:00pm
