Duties/Responsibilities:- Program and set up robotic welders for production parts.- Create, edit and prove out programs.- Running of production jobs on robotic welders.- Optimize cycle times to improve productivity.- Assist with continuous improvements and more efficient ways to run the weld operations.- Assist engineering in welding fixture design review.- Maintains company quality, efficiency, and productivity standards.- Wears appropriate safety equipment for work being performed and as directed by company policy.- Maintains a safe work environment through good housekeeping practices.- All other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:- Robotic welding programming experience. Motomann preferred- Knowledge of MIG welding required.- Knowledge of TIG welding, MIG Aluminum welding, and Stainless Steel Welding preferred.- Ability to read blueprints.- Attention to detail and must be alert to quality issues.- Must be a self-motivator.Education and Experience:- High school diploma or equivalent required- At least one year of related experience of training required.- Demonstrated experience in MIG welding and robotic weld programmingAdditional Requirements:- Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
